Qualifications

Currently enrolled in High School and participating in an automotive training program. Students must be in good standing with the High School. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and conduct basic preventative maintenance
  • Ability to check fluids and top off fluids
  • Ability to assist technicians with basic electrical diagnostics and battery testing/maintenance
  • Ability to assist with brake inspections and basic tire services
  • Must be able to prioritize and organize work and have the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to collaborate with Department Heads, employees and other groups on work related assignments
  • Ability to work with others as a team member
  • Must be able to assist with shop organization and clean up
  • Must be able to work with the public and provide information in a polite and efficient manner

Supplemental Information

The work is primarily performed in an shop environment, but some work may be performed in an outdoor environment.
